Seven reasons new mums swear by these electrolytes
Intro Offer: 24% offPoor sleep, exhaustion, headaches, muscle cramps, food cravings... it's easy to dismiss these as unavoidable symptoms of new motherhood.
The truth is these are often made worse by nutrient deficiencies. Pregnancy and breastfeeding increase the body's demands for water and minerals by up to 50%. Addressing these requirements can make all the difference.
“Pregnancy and breastfeeding increase your mineral and hydration needs by up to 50%. Low energy, brain fog and sweet cravings are common signs these requirements aren't met. Oshun is my go-to as it’s an easy, flavour-free and effective way to address these challenges.”
- Phoebe Liebling, Nutritional Therapist

1. Hydration Support
Feeling THIRSTY? Pregnancy and breastfeeding increase the body's demand for water. Electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and magnesium help maintain proper hydration by balancing fluid levels in the body, helping you avoid symptoms of dehydration. Oshun provides these electrolytes with zero artificial ingredients added, making it ideal for this precious time.

2. Energy Levels & Recovery
Electrolytes are vital for energy production. Low levels can lead to fatigue, which is common during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to increased metabolic demands. Hannah, a mum of 3, says Oshun "brings her back to life" in the morning.

3. Nourishing Mum & Baby
Electrolytes are essential for transporting nutrients across the placenta to the fetus and through the milk to the newborn. They facilitate the absorption of other vital nutrients, ensuring that both baby and mum receive what they need for growth, development, and recovery post-delivery.
“I started using Oshun in my third trimester. I feel more rested and I'm not overthinking things as much as I was. I feel like I'm giving myself and my baby the hydration needed to grow.”
- Elise, expecting baby #1

4. Muscle Cramps
Pregnant women are prone to muscle cramps, particularly in the legs. Similarly, breastfeeding is physically demanding, and adequate electrolyte balance can prevent muscle fatigue and cramps.
5. Blood Pressure Regulation
Ever feel dizzy? Sodium and potassium help regulate blood pressure, which can fluctuate during pregnancy due to increased blood volume and hormonal changes. Proper electrolyte balance supports cardiovascular health, reducing the risk of conditions like preeclampsia.

6. Flavouring-Free, Nausea-Safe
During pregnancy, many women experience unusual tastes or feelings of constantly being full. Add to this the classic case of nausea, and it can be tricky to stay on top of fluid requirements. This is where Oshun stands out: thanks to being totally flavour-free, it's incredibly easy to incorporate without even noticing it. You could be nauseous, suffer from reflux, have aversions to certain flavours - Oshun will be your companion all the way.

7. Safe and Pure Hydration
Oshun is unlike other electrolyte products. It is not made in a lab: it's naturally harvested, concentrated and tested for safety. That means each pump provides pure unadulterated minerals without any artificial additives. This makes Oshun the perfect addition to your hydration habits during and post pregnancy.
“Two pumps of Oshun in the morning and WOW, it really brings me back to life”
- Hannah, mum of 3

from 608 reviewsOshun has become a staple in ensuring I’m hydrated. Very happy so far!
This is a repeat purchase for me. I wouldn’t be without it. Reliable keeps me hydrated and alert throughout the day.
I've been using Oshun since about half way through my pregnancy, I'm now 8 weeks into breastfeeding, and I love it. I use it every day and have never felt dehydrated and definitely don't have the mid afternoon slump that I used to do, which is amazing considering I have a 2.5 year old and a 8 week old! I also love the new refill pouches.
More hydration, more energy
As a BF Mama, I cannot live without my Oshun magic. I know when I’ve not had it/enough.. and very soon after having it, I feel so much better. The new pouch is great too
I feel a lot better since I started drinking Oshun. More mentally sharp, skin looking clearer and just feeling good overall. The salty taste took some getting used to initially but now it weirdly makes water taste sweeter. The only downside is that plain water tastes awful now!
Oshun is the only thing that helps me crawl out of a PEM (post exertional malaise) crash. I take 5 sprays per pint of water and while it’s obviously not curative it gives me the boost I need to slowly crawl out of a crash. I couldn’t be without it! No other electrolyte formula did this, and I’m grateful not to be filling me body with sugar and additives - just pure electrolytes!.
I have been using oshun since I was pregnant ( in my third trimester) and have carried on using it into my breast feeding journey post partum. On days I haven’t used it I really notice the levels of thirst increase dramatically and levels of fatigue creep in over and above being the mother of a now 4 week old baby. I highly recommend oshun!
Really helping with clearing pregnancy headaches!
Drinking more water as it tastes much better, and my PoTS symptoms have improved
This is the fourth month of taking Oshun. I have notice that my skin is much more refreshed looking. So very happy with the results!
I've tried plenty of electrolytes but have always hated the synthetic over sweet flavours but Oshun is actually delicious! I don't just use it around exercise anymore either, I drink it twice a day and have never felt more hydrated (or looked it, my skin is amazing these days and I put it down to oshun!)
Clean and easy way to rehydrate, no added sugars or flavours, it does exactly what it says on the tin.
More energy and clarity, less thirst
It’s by no means an immediate remedy, but after a week of regular consumption, you start to notice a difference. I no longer have the brain fog I used to. I feel like I can actually focus better throughout the day now. I don’t feel the need to have fizzy drinks anywhere near as much as I used to. I notice little differences each week like my skin improving. It’s nothing drastic, but anything that comes immediately is never usually a good thing. It’s nice to see something like this having such benefits over time.
It took me at least a week to get used to the subtle taste and viscosity of it in water, but now I actually quite like it. It’s a little like drinking milk (sounds weird, but trust me, it’s actually alright). As I keep consuming it, I’m intrigued to see if I notice any other differences in myself over time. The lack of brain fog was the quickest thing to notice for me though.
